Start date: October 15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

Course duration: 2 months, 8 sessions, 3 hours each session (6:00 – 9:00 p.m.) + Graduation event

Last session: December 3, 2021 (Friday) at 7 p.m.

The workshop is suitable for both the beginners and people experienced with various dance styles.
Would you like to better understand your body’s abilities? To challenge your physical capabilities? Would you like to move—to dance? Do you want to learn how to work with your body? Do you wish to get familiar with basic techniques of contemporary dance art?

“Oh, but I can’t dance ”—Well, it doesn’t matter. No previous dancing experience or capability is required. You just need to allow yourself to discover your own physical possibilities. You will learn to work with the basic logic of your body, applicable in dancing, but also in everyday life.

The more we understand our potential, the bigger is our chance to grow our self-confidence. Physical-contact, a technique developed in the world of theater in the middle of the 20th century, helps us to achieve that.

At the end of the dance/movement workshop, you’ll celebrate with a performance rehearsed during the individual sessions.

The workshop leader: Anna Gulyás, choreographer, dance artist (Budapest, Hungary)

Workshop language: English.

Suitable for anybody 18+ years old (no upper age limit).

Fee: 320 EUR (all 8 sessions)

Spots are limited, only available to the first 10 registered.

Location: Meteorit Theatre, Bratislava I. Gajova 4.
